HACM is currently accepting pre-applications for the following 12 developments. Project-Based Vouchers are a type of assistance that subsidizes the cost of housing at specific housing developments. Project-Based Vouchers: HACM is continuing its open wait lists for Project-Based Vouchers. If you previously completed a pre-application for the Housing Choice Voucher wait list before Decemand were not selected in the lottery, you will need to reapply for an opportunity to be chosen in future lotteries. HACM will accept online pre-applications to be included in one or more lotteries to be selected for this wait list. The program provides very low-income families with vouchers to help in paying their rent for housing in private market units that have been inspected and met the program’s housing quality standards. Housing Choice Vouchers are a form of Section 8 Rent Assistance funded by the federal government and administered locally by the Housing Authority.
